The Hotel

Opened in October 2006, the MELIÃ BERLIN is located in the heart of the German capital at the corner Friedrichstraße and Am Weidendamm and within a few minutes walk of the Brandenburger Tor, the Museuminsel, the Friedrichstadtpalast or Alexanderplatz.

In addition to its extraordinary location, occupying a 90 meters stretch of the famous Friedrichstraße, this four star superior hotel provides 364 guestrooms on eight floors, all fully equipped to the demanding standards of the new MELIÁ HOTELS brand.

On the 7th and 8th floor we offer the executive rooms, called THE LEVEL, which include free access to our executive lounge. There you find a separate area for breakfast, small snacks throughout the day and free late check-out (on request and availability).

The MELIÃ BERLIN also offers a convention and incentive centre comprising 8 different sized meeting rooms and a ballroom. There is also in Executive Club providing a relaxing, exclusive and efficient service for contemporary business travellers.

To keep in shape after a busy day in the German capital, the MELIÃ BERLIN provides a well-equipped gym with treadmills, exercise bikes, a weights area and sauna.

Food service is noted for its originality and great Mediterranean and regional cuisine, breakfast buffet and two restaurants where up to 300 diners may enjoy Spanish specialities or a great range of international menu choices. The hotel offers the á-la-carte Restaurant Café Madrid, the bar “meliá tapas”, a lobby bar and room service.
